Pink Party is an annual fashion show fundraiser to benefit The American Cancer Society’s, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Making Strides is an organization doing it’s best in every community to help people with breast cancer and striving to find cures to end it.
In the hope to make a difference, Highlights Salon is currently planning our 3rd annual fashion show “The Pink Party.” Our show features drinks, food, music, raffles, live and silent auctions, and best of all, our beautiful models are all cancer survivors! These model survivors show us what courage looks like by strutting down the runway and feeling beautiful with their hair and make-up done by our team, Highlights Salon. This year’s event will take place on October 22, 2016 at the Varnum Memorial Armory in East Greenwich.
In the past, our event has contributed to raising over $20,000.00, and we strive to raise our goals each year.
The American Cancer Society helps to fight this number one health concern of women today. All funds raised from Making Strides Against Breast Cancer are restricted to breast health programs, services and research; and the ACS is an integral part in the supporting those affected by this horrible disease.
